The Employee Learning Library in Better HR is a centralized space for HR teams and company leaders to share important documents with employees. Whether it’s an employee handbook, company policies, training materials, or internal guides, this feature helps streamline communication and knowledge sharing across your organization.

What It’s Used For

  • Share important documents like:

    • Employee handbooks

    • Rules and regulations

    • Training materials

    • Company announcements

    • Internal SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures)

  • Promote learning and compliance by tracking whether employees have:

    • Opened the file

    • Read the file

    • Acknowledged receipt


How It Works

  1. Create a Folder First

    • To upload files, you must first create a folder.

    • Each folder can be named and described clearly to reflect its contents.

  2. Set Access Permissions at the Folder Level

    • When creating a folder, you can limit visibility based on:

      • Departments

      • Locations

      • Positions

      • Custom Tags

    • Only employees matching these criteria will be able to view the contents of the folder in their mobile app.

  3. Upload Files into the Folder

    • Once the folder is created, upload relevant documents into it.

    • Files are neatly organized and easily accessible within the assigned folder.

  4. Mobile Access for Employees

    • Employees will find the files shared with them in the Learning Library section of the mobile app.

    • They can open, read, and acknowledge each document directly from their device.

  5. Track Employee Engagement

    • The system allows you to monitor:

      • Who opened the file

      • Who completed reading

      • Who acknowledged receipt

The Employee Learning Library ensures that the right information reaches the right people—securely, clearly, and trackably—supporting compliance, onboarding, and continuous learning within your organization.
