In Better HR, users with payroll access—such as HR teams, payroll officers, or managers—can review an employee’s monthly payroll details directly from their profile. This includes salary, allowances, deductions, income tax, and SSB.
Better HR provides two viewing options:

  • Payroll History – shows basic salary, taxable income, and income tax for each month within the budget year (April to March).

  • Payroll History V2 – provides a complete breakdown of salary, allowances, deductions, tax, and SSB for each month.

Both views support date filtering and Excel export. The steps below explain how to access and use these features.

Step-by-Step SOP

Step 1: Open the Employee Profile

1. Go to the Employee Tab

From the left sidebar, click Employee.

2. Select the Employee

You will see the employee list.
Click on the employee’s name whose payroll information you want to review.

Step 2: View Payroll History

1. Go to the Payroll History Tab

Inside the employee’s profile, click the Payroll History tab.
