Better HR – November 2025 Product Update & New Features

These updates focus on payroll accuracy, compliance, AI automation, ATS enhancements, localization, and overall system stability across regions.


System & Platform Enhancements

Employee Profile & Core System

  • Added tracker for employee account activation and deactivation in the employee profile.

  • Added validation in employee off-boarding flow with Quick Resign option (skip approval when needed).

  • Added Department Code field in Employee Profile.

  • Enhanced Payroll History V2 in Employee Profile.

  • Fixed issue where leaves added in policy were not appearing in employee profile and Leave tab.

  • Fixed department dropdown issue in Employee Directory.

  • Added resign filter in Employee Directory (System Status filter).


Payroll & Reporting Enhancements

General Payroll Improvements

  • Added Thailand Payroll – official SSO Monthly Report with automatic contribution calculation and export.

  • Fixed Payroll Group Summary blank data issue for Sri Lanka clients.

  • Fixed Month-on-Month Payroll Report Excel showing no data.

  • Added late minutes detail (hour : minute : second) format in Summarize Report.

  • Added total project-based pay and OT hours in Export Day-by-Day Report
    (with >60 days disabled).

  • Added project-based pay and OT hours columns in Summarize & Day-by-Day Reports.

  • Enhanced Payroll Data Center to clearly display employee bank information.

  • Fixed Payroll Automation Authorizer not receiving OTP during authorization.

  • Enabled Payslip JSON download for all authorized users.


Payroll Localization & Compliance

Sri Lanka

  • Fixed missing default roster issue for AOD clients.

  • Added Commercial Bank to payment integration bank list.

  • Added Sampath Bank Branch Code as mandatory field.

  • Updated Sampath Bank export format to support CEFTS & SLIPS bulk transactions.

  • Fixed Location Snapshot not working on Android devices.

Cambodia

  • Added display of Break Time Frequency and Total Break Hours in Day-by-Day and Summary Reports.

  • Fixed break-time deduction calculation in attendance. The system now applies break rules consistently across all attendance scenarios.

  • Fixed ABA Salary Upload Template to match bank portal requirements.

  • Fixed pending request visibility issue on mobile app caused by deleted duplicate employee records.

  • Clarified NSSF Pension Contribution rules for employees aged 60 and above.

  • Updated default currency to USD for Assume Taxable Salary and Assume NSSF Salary.

Philippines

  • Released monthly payroll report suite.

Vietnam

  • Corrected Ting Ting SMS API format to comply with provider requirements.


Attendance, Shift & Leave Management

  • Introduced flexible non-attendance calculation based on principle working days or scheduled working days.

  • Fixed remote check-in/out timestamp errors and overnight shift date alignment.

  • Improved remote check-in/out traceability—approved records no longer marked absent.

  • Added minimum leave-days condition for leave requests.

  • Enabled leave application for next year or next leave cycle based on policy.

  • Fixed leave approval changing shift time issue.

  • Fixed leave submission logic when remaining balance was less than pending count.

  • Improved upcoming shift visibility window (extended to 8 hours 20 minutes).


AI Agent Enhancements

(Some features effective from next deployment)

  • Added AI Agent Endpoint for automation and background task handling.

  • Enabled AI Agent to submit project-based payment overtime requests.

  • Enabled AI Agent Duty Roster fetch and update.

  • Added Location Snapshot reason handling for AI attendance automation.

  • Added Read KPI and Read Payroll Month-on-Month capabilities.

  • Added Add Day Off and Holiday automation support.

  • Enabled Employee Movement Export.

  • Added Project-Based Payment support in Summary Query.

  • Fixed AI Agent access issue for Vietnam users.

  • Upgraded AI Agent monthly quota to 20,000,000 tokens ($50/month package) for all clients.


ATS (Applicant Tracking System)

  • Added CV Extraction for Bulk CV Upload.

  • Added Bulk CV Upload UI with AI-generated evaluation and rating.

  • Reorganized Experience and Record sections into Candidate Basic Info tab.


Permissions, Security & Audit

  • Added payroll export tracking in Security Log.

  • Added account activation/deactivation tracking for audit transparency.

  • Improved permission filter logic for manager dropdown and mobile visibility.

  • Enabled admin-level users to be selected as payroll approvers.

  • Fixed Assigned Group Only policy selection issue.

  • Scoped policy visibility to Business Unit and Department level.


Mobile & App Improvements

  • Fixed mobile scrolling issue for assigned managers.

  • Corrected login errors for specific email/password combinations.

  • Fixed Location Snapshot usage on Android (Sri Lanka).

  • Improved shift loading logic so future shifts do not appear prematurely.


Multi-Language & Localization

  • Added multi-language support for Dashboard and Employee tab:
    English, Thai, Burmese (Myanmar), Khmer, Vietnamese

  • Fixed issue where language reverted to English on certain tabs.

  • Fixed incorrect Check-In/Out Method labels after language switch.

  • Navigation bar fully localized; full page translations coming soon.


Quality Fixes & Performance Improvements

  • Blocked space characters when entering salary values (system & Excel import).

  • Fixed overlapping date pickers on Assets List page.

  • Fixed custom field update error.

  • Fixed blank announcement title/description when attachments were included.

  • Fixed attendance settings not displaying shift days under Standard Policy.

  • Re-ran monthly backups for attendance, leave, and audit logs.

  • Optimized report performance for large datasets (e.g., Yoma Bank).
