We are introducing a new restriction feature that allows admins to enforce how many days in advance an employee must submit their leave request based on the duration of the leave.
What’s New
Previously, leave policies had a uniform advance notice requirement regardless of the leave length.
With this update, you can now set tiered requirements. For example:
Requests for 1 to 3 days of leave may require 3 days' advance notice.
Requests for 4 days or more may require 7 days' advance notice.
How It Works
The advance submission rules are configured per leave type in Settings → Policies → Leave Settings.
Within the respective leave type, admins can define specific "Advance Day" rules based on the total number of leave days requested.
When an employee attempts to request leave via the mobile app or dashboard, the system will automatically validate if they have met the required advance notice period.
If the request does not meet the criteria, the system will restrict the submission, ensuring managers have sufficient time to plan for absences.
This feature provides better workforce planning and prevents last-minute disruptions for longer leave periods.
