Q: Why do I see the error “This leave type is only for male/ female employees”?
A: This error occurs because the leave type you are trying to assign or request (such as Paternity Leave) is restricted by gender in the system settings.
The Fix: Ensure the leave type matches the employee's profile. If the employee's gender is recorded incorrectly in the system, an Admin must update their personal profile data before the leave can be processed.
