1. How to install our app

2. Entering your organization domain

We issue a separate domain for each organization for data security and stability. Usually if your company is Pepsi then it's pepsi.better.hr. Check with your HR team.

3. Log in with phone number (no password needed)

If you are someone who doesn't use email or don't remember a password. you can use a phone number to log-in. Type in the right number and the app will automatically log you in. Password is not needed.

4. Log in with email

You will received the invitation mail to enter Better HR system once you are registered and you can use those credentials to login to the system.

5. How to reset your password

If you have legit email and don't know or received password. You can click on forget your password and type your email must be the same as in Better HR system. After filling your email, click on reset and then you should receive your password. If you don't receive the email, you can check the spam folder as well.

6. You arrive to welcome screen. Enter your personal information

You can enter your own personal details here such as date of birth, NRC number, uploading NRC number, taking a picture of our-self, etc

7. Home screen summary

Here you can see all sort of information and services that you will need at a glance.

8. Types of attendance check-in/check-out

There are four types of check-in: QR check-in, Remote Check-in, Office Check-in and Fingerprint

(a) Scan check-in: Better HR Office app will generate a QR code every 20 sec that is tied to the GPS location of the office. So you cannot take a picture and scan it from your home.

(b) Office check-in: the convenient way of checking-in. Once you are in the office location, you can just click it and it will check you in.

(c) Remote Check-in: use case is that some people has to go to early meetings or at an event and those people are not in the office location. They can use the remote check-in request to their supervisor or HR along with a GPS map so that they know where you are.

9. How to submit OT

OT has to be manually submitted and be approved by designated approver usually your line manager. Submitting OT is straight forward. Detail tutorial here. But generally, you just select the date and number of hours or minute of OT that you have worked on and submit it. Be mindful that the approver can change the time frame of OT. For example, you submitted 4 hours but your supervisor evaluate that 2 hours is only needed and he can change that.

10. How to submit Leave

What you see on the Leave screen is your current balance. You can also check your leave history if you want. Submitting leave is easy. Just select the type of leave you want to submit and select the date range on the calendar. Sometimes you may not be able to submit it, it is because your HR team may have put some limitation on when and where you can submit such as 'must submit xx days ahead'

11. Line Manager View

All of your requests will go to your line manager or HR like this. Attendance will have GPS, leave requests will have other dates in the vicinity that you may be taking. In OT, line manager can change the number of OT hour you have submitted. We advise that you align with your line manager verbally as a courtesy before submitting an OT.

c. Enabling Google Map on Xiaomi or Redmi phone

13. Profile - Info

You can change your basic information like photo, known as, some of the information permitted by your admin.

14. Profile - Where to check your file and assets assigned to you

Beside Basic Info, there are tabs to change your family info, check file, assets in your profile also.

15. Profile - Where to find your policies and shift

It is on the rightmost side of your Assets tab. There you can click on View Details on Attendance, OT and Leave policies.
