Submitting a Second Approval via Mobile

When you apply for leave that has been configured for two-step verification, the app will prompt you to identify who should review your request after your direct manager.

How to Choose Your Second Approver

  1. Fill in Leave Details: Open the Better HR App, go to the Leave module, and enter your dates and reason as usual.

  2. Identify the Requirement: If the "Second Approval" field appears, it means this specific leave type requires a double-check.

  3. Select the Person: * If your company uses Permission Groups, a dropdown menu will appear.

    • Tap the menu to see a list of authorized users (such as HR Managers or Department Heads).

    • Select one person from the list to be your second-level approver.

  4. Submit: Once both approvers are set, tap Apply.


Understanding the Workflow

  • Step 1: Your Direct Manager receives the notification first.

  • Step 2: Once they approve, the request moves to the Second Approver you selected.

  • Step 3: You will receive a notification only after the Second Approver provides the final "Green Light."

[!NOTE] Can't find a specific name? If the person you are looking for isn't in the dropdown list, it means they haven't been added to the required Permission Group by your System Admin.


βœ… Request Submitted: Your leave is now in the multi-step approval queue. You can track the status of both approvals in your "Leave History" tab.
