Overview
Organizations often receive a high volume of employee requests—such as leave applications, attendance check-ins, and project-based payment logs. The Inbox in Better HR helps HR and admins efficiently manage these by allowing them to filter, view, and take action on requests based on type and status.
Admins can:
View requests by type (e.g., Attendance, Leave, Overtime)
Filter by request status (Pending, Approved, Rejected)
Take individual or bulk action (Approve or Reject)
Steps to Check and Take Action on Inbox Requests
Step 1:
Go to the Inbox tab in the sidebar.
Step 2:
Click the Filter button. You can filter by:
Position
Location
Department
Custom Tag
All Request Types
Step 3:
Click All Requests and choose:
Status: Pending, Approved, or Rejected
Type:
Announcement
Overtime
Leave
Attendance
Shift
Job Activity
Job Announcement
Payroll
Project Request
Location Snapshot
Performance Appraisal
Interview Invitation
Assignment Feedback
Interview Feedback
Step 4:
For example, if you select Pending and Attendance, the system will show all pending attendance requests. These are marked in yellow for quick visual reference.
Step 5:
If there are many requests, you can select multiple requests and click Approve or Reject in bulk.
📌 Note:
If you're approving or rejecting in bulk, you’ll be prompted to add a reason for the action.
