This month, we focused on enhancing payroll accuracy and flexibility, improving attendance and workforce tracking, and introducing powerful new customization features. We also expanded mobile capabilities and strengthened system security, while continuously resolving critical issues across payroll, leave, and employee management.


🚀 New Features & Major Improvements

Payroll & Compliance

  • Advanced Payroll Calculation Logic
    Introduced multiple new payroll calculation enhancements:

    • Daily Extra Hour Pay calculation

    • Monthly Late Minutes Deduction with configurable rules

    • Working Hour Pay with flexible condition settings (by position, job grade, time range, etc.)

    • Time Segment Detection for more precise payroll and labor reporting

  • Net Salary Rounding Rules
    Added configurable rounding options for payroll groups to meet different organizational requirements.

  • Country-Specific Compliance Updates

    • Sri Lanka: Added ETF Remittance Forms (R1 & R4) for statutory reporting

    • Vietnam: Enabled automatic Social Insurance salary configuration using principle salary

    • Thailand: Introduced Social Security Fund (SSF) calculation support

  • Income Tax & SSB Flexibility (Myanmar)
    Enabled toggling of Income Tax and SSB directly from employee profiles.


Attendance & Workforce Management

  • Labor Hours Monitor (NEW)
    A powerful new feature to track and analyze employee working hours with:

    • Configurable logic (grace minutes, caps, rounding rules)

    • Late check-out tracking

    • Combined column reporting for better insights

  • Monthly Attendance View
    Added a monthly view option in attendance records for easier tracking and review.

  • Enhanced Duty Roster Management

    • New shift customization options (change time, add extra shift, convert off days)

    • Default overwrite option for easier roster imports

  • Attendance-Based Payment Enhancements

    • Improved handling of half-day leave scenarios

🛠️ Key Bug Fixes

Payroll & Finance

  • Fixed incorrect:

    • Net salary rounding and calculation display

    • Tax calculation showing 0

    • Basic salary inclusion/exclusion logic

    • Previously paid import data visibility


Attendance & Leave

  • Resolved issues with:

    • Deleted leave still appearing in records

    • Half-day leave calculation inconsistencies

    • Remote check-in timing errors

    • Attendance record visibility (including missing dates)


Employee Management

  • Fixed:

    • Resigned employees still appearing as active

    • Employee sensitive information visibility issues

    • Employee creation and bank update errors


Mobile App

    • App crashes (missing DOB, onboarding issues)

    • Login/logout issues from inbox

    • Splash screen freezing

    • Attendance sync inconsistencies


System & Security

  • Addressed:

    • SQL Injection and XSS vulnerabilities

    • Permission-related access issues

    • Data export and backup errors


🔐 Security Improvements

  • Strengthened input validation and query handling

  • Added missing permission checks across modules
