How to Use the Leave Analytics Feature in Better HR

The Leave Analytics feature in Better HR helps HR teams and managers understand how leave is used across the organization. With easy-to-read charts and exportable data, you can analyze leave trends by department, location, position, or custom tags.

Follow the steps below to explore and export leave insights:

1. Click on Leave tab from the sidebar, then select Analytic.​

2. Set the Date Range.

>>At the top, choose the start and end dates to filter the analytics<<

3. Once the date is set, you will see:​

  • Headcount: Total number of employees who took leave.​

  • Total Leave Taken

  • Unpaid Leave Taken

4. Scroll Down to See Leave Details​

  • Below the summary, you can see a table with:​

  • Employee Name

  • Leave Type

  • Requested Date

  • Number of Days Taken

5. Scroll Down Again for Leave Breakdown​

  • View charts showing leave usage by:​

Department​
Location​
Position​
Custom Tags (if used in your system)​

6. Export the Data​

  • Click the three-dot icon at the top-right.​

  • Choose Export Excel to download the analytics report.​
