You can easily upload public holiday calendars into Better HR to automatically apply paid public holidays across your policies.
Step 1 — Go to Settings
Step 2 — Go to Policies
Inside Settings, go to the Policies tab.
Select the policy where you want to apply public holidays.
Inside the policy, go to the Leave tab.
Step 3 — Enable Public Holiday Calendar
Under Leave Settings, find “Do your employees have paid public holidays off work?”
Toggle Yes if you want public holiday calendar to apply.
Toggle No if public holidays will not affect leave balances.
Step 4 — Import Calendar
If you toggle Yes, the Imported Calendar List section will appear.
Click + Import Calendar.
(You can request the calendar import file from the CS Team.)
Upload or select the calendar file.
Step 5 — Review and Edit Calendar
After upload, click Edit Pattern to review the holidays.
