Better HR July 2025 – Product Update and New Features

As July finished, we’re excited to share the newest updates to your Better HR platform. This month’s releases bring powerful new modules, smarter filters, refined payroll processes, and a host of UX improvements to make managing your workforce smoother than ever.


Better HR – Web

Enhancements & Features

KPI Tracker

  • New KPI Tracker Module (Frontend & Backend) launched for advanced goal management and performance tracking.

  • Added KPI filter in employee selection with increased column width for achievement percentage.

  • Fixed 7-digit number display issue in Target and Actual fields.

  • New endpoint added for mobile app integration.

Inbox & Request Management

  • Added calendar date range filter to quickly sort requests by specific dates.

  • Added project name preview for project-based payment requests.

  • Added support for sending announcement subject and message body.

Better Jobs Platform

  • Job vacancies now display only for the past 30 days, ensuring relevance.

  • Added “Intern/Entry Level” option in seniority dropdown when creating job posts.

Employee Information Updates

Payroll Module

  • Payroll export now correctly displays commas, supports 2 decimal places, and fixes Excel export failures.

  • Corrected amount column calculation for annual salary/wage in ပတခ(ဝင)-၃၀၇(က).

  • Added Employee Code column in Import Tax Voucher Number template.

  • Vietnam Payroll: Integrated Personal Income Tax and Monthly Social Insurance declaration forms.

  • Adjusted NSSF E-Form terminology to match official Cambodian NSSF site.

  • Updated non-attendance condition to support decimal values.

  • Evergreenlabs (Vietnam): Fixed Total Scheduled Working Days, Project Multiplier, and Individual Multiplier calculation issues.

Attendance & Bonus

  • Resolved mismatches between payroll table “Days” and Non-Attendance deductions.

  • Corrected attendance bonus calculations for non-attendance day counts.

  • Updated default condition for Attendance Bonus in Policy > Payroll.

  • Attendance creation cron job performance improved; holiday generation logic added.

Project-Based Pay & OT

  • Fixed evaluated hours in Inbox requests showing as 0 (critical issue resolved).

Bank Payment Integration

  • Corrected “Net Salary” spelling in payment format download.

Dashboard & Data Centers

  • Dashboard now displays selected time period for displayed data.

  • New Payroll Data Center for Salary, Allowance, and Deduction management.

Location Snapshot (Smart Leave)

  • Improved map view with larger, clearer displays.

QR Check-In Generator

  • New QR generator tool released for attendance.

Currency & Input Settings

  • Added default currency setup (USD) for salary input and allowance/deduction creation.

UI/UX Enhancements

  • Added debounce to download buttons to prevent repeated clicks.

  • Updated import button text color in public holiday calendar popup.

  • Adjusted employee selection UI in payroll module.


Bug Fixes

Payroll & Import

  • Fixed payroll analytics page blank display.

  • Added error message and auto-unlock for incorrect payroll Excel imports.

  • SSB column now supports 2 decimal places.

Attendance & Leave

  • Fixed check-out display for auto-attendance.

  • Improved error messages for normal off-day leave requests.

  • Fixed leave analytics percentage display (Refresher: Unicharm).

  • Resolved missing holidays in Duty Roster (Ukarka).

ATS (Applicant Tracking System)

  • Added search bar and interviewer dropdown in interview invitation form.

Permissions

  • Fixed issue where employee scope reset after adding users (KH Clients).

  • Filter dropdowns now respect permission scope across modules (KH Clients).

Backend & Maintenance

  • Fixed monthly backup logic after migration to Lambda.

  • Corrected employee milestone display in Organization Activity.

Inbox & Filtering

  • Resolved missing data when filtering by “Pending” and “Performance Appraisal.”
