Previously, the Attendance Bonus calculation supported the following conditions:

  • Target Percentage

  • Minimum Attendance Day

  • Non-Attendance Day

Under the Non-Attendance Day condition, when an employee took a half-day leave, the system counted it as 0.5 day in the calculation.

With this upcoming enhancement, a new condition will be introduced:

  • Non-Attendance Shift

This new condition allows attendance bonus calculations to follow Sri Lanka attendance rules more accurately.

How the New Logic Works

  • Non-Attendance Day

    • Half-day leave is calculated as 0.5 day (unchanged behavior)

  • Non-Attendance Shift (New)

    • Even if an employee takes a half-day leave, it is counted as 1 full shift

The Attendance Bonus setup will support this new condition alongside existing ones, while continuing to apply the same Flat Rate and Individual / Multiple calculation options.

This enhancement provides greater flexibility and ensures attendance bonus calculations.
