Step 1: Prepare Your Device
Before opening the app, make sure your mobile device is ready to capture accurate data:
Turn ON your phone's GPS / Location services.
Wait a brief moment to ensure your map location has successfully updated to your current coordinates.
Step 2: Submit the Snapshot
Open the mobile app and tap the Location Snapshot icon.
Add a Message: Type a brief note explaining your current status (e.g., "Arrived at Client A's office").
Upload Photo (Policy Dependent): * If your company policy mandates it, take or attach a photo as visual proof.
If your company policy does not require it, you can skip this step.
Tap Send Request.
Where Does the Request Go?
Once you hit send, the snapshot bypasses standard attendance sheets and goes straight into the field team's pipeline:
Instant Notification: The request is instantly routed to your Line Manager or designated Department Head.
Manager Verification: They will be able to view your exact GPS coordinates pinpointed on a map, along with your attached note and photo.
Location Snapshot Quick Summary
Action Required | Why It Matters |
GPS Verification | Automatically locks your actual coordinates so you don't have to manually type an address. |
Photo Attachment | Acts as an uneditable receipt of your surroundings (if required by HR). |
Direct Route | Sends data directly to your supervisor's inbox for quick real-time tracking. |

Troubleshooting Location Issues
If the app warns you that your location is inaccurate, step away from large concrete structures or heavy coverage, refresh your phone's maps app, and try opening the Location Snapshot feature again.
✅ Snapshot Sent: Your real-time location and status update have been securely transmitted to your manager.
