Overtime Analytics Feature

We have released a new feature - “Overtime Analytics” for the users to manage the workforce effectively and efficiently.

You can set up which kind of information to be shown in the Analytics page in the top section. These options will help you filter through all the overtime information of the employees.

  • You can filter the OT analytics results of Overview, Analytics and Detail sections according to their Positions, Locations, Department, Custom Tags, etc.

  • You can also choose the time period by clicking on the dates in the top left corner. Click on one of the dates to see the various options available for time period such as Today, This month, Last 30 days, Last calendar year and so on. You can also select the start date and end date easily just by selecting dates on the calendar shown. The default time period is set as “This Year”, showing the analytics details occurred between 1st January 2022 to 31st December 2022.

  • You can also add for OT hours in this page just by clicking the “Add Hours” button in the top left corner. You have to choose the employee and fill in the details then, click “confirm” button to add OT hours for the employee.

  • You can also export excel sheet of the OT analytics page so that you can download and view the overtime details in a excel format.

Overview

The first section shows the overview of the overtime requests and hours of the employees in the system.

Headcount

  • Shows the total number of employees who have applied for the overtime and got the approvals from their managers.

  • The small number shown is the difference of the headcount compared with the previous time frame of selected period.

Request

  • Shows the total number of overtime requests that have been approved in the chosen period.

  • The small number shown is the difference of the approved requests compared with the previous time frame of selected period.

Overtime Hours

  • Shows the total number of approved overtime hours in the chosen period.

  • The small number shown is the difference of the approved

The green up arrow sign indicates that the OT headcount of current chosen period is greater than that of previous.

The red down arrow sign indicates that the OT headcount of current chosen period is less than that of previous.

The grey dash sign indicates that the OT headcount of current chosen period is equal to that of previous.

Analytics

This section shows the analytics of the overtime requests and hours of the employees in the system by using graph and pie chart.

OT Trend Graph

This graph shows the comparison of overtime requests and their requested hours in the organization.

When you hover to the area above the month you want to know, the system will show the total hour of requested Overtimes and the total hour of approved Overtimes.

OT Overview

This chart shows the total requested hours posted by employees broken down by its day types.

When you hover the chart, you can see the day type and its total hours. In this way, you can quickly oversee which day types that the employees mostly request for OT such as do they request for OT mostly in office days or in holidays.

Overtime Detail

In this section, the Overtime Detail table shows the employees and their OT requests in a table form.

If you click on the right arrow icon beside the employee's name in the table, you will see all the OT requests that he had made in the chosen period. You can review each OT request’s details and delete them as appropriate.

When there are multiple OT requests for the same employee in a single day, there will be a warning sign so that you can check whether if they are true or not. You can easily filter them by clicking “filter” button in the warning message above the table so that the system will only filter the results of the table.

Overtime Breakdown

Overtime breakdown table shows the breakdown of OT requests and their approved hours according to the department, position and the custom tags created.

You can easily choose the views by clicking the view you want right above the table.

Each table will show the total number of OT requests, the total number of approved OT hours and the total employees who received approvals for OT.
