Overview – Inbox
The Inbox in Better HR serves as a centralized location where HR/admin users can view, manage, and take action on various employee-submitted requests.
Here’s what can be seen and processed through the Inbox:
Attendance requests – Remote check-in/check-out
Leave requests – Annual, sick, unpaid, etc.
Project-based payment submissions – Logged hours per project
Location snapshot reports – Sent via the mobile app
Job activity changes – Promotions, transfers, resignations, and adjustments
Performance appraisal – Form ratings and submissions
Announcements – Approvals or acknowledgments
Payroll approvals
Recruitment actions – Interview invitations, feedback, and assignment feedback
How the Inbox Workflow Works
HR/Admin Users (with permission access) can approve or reject all submissions directly from the web system’s Inbox.
Managers can take action on their team's requests (like attendance and leave) through the Better HR mobile app.
Useful Functions in the Inbox
Filter Requests
Use filters to narrow down requests based on:Position
Department
Location
Custom Tags
Status (Pending / Approved / Rejected)
Export Pending Requests
Click the three-dot icon in the top-right corner of the Inbox page to export all pending requests as an Excel file.
