Managing Job Applications on Better Jobs

Once your job post is live, Better Jobs makes it easy to review CVs, screen candidates, and move them through the recruitment pipeline — from assignments to interviews and final offers.

Follow this step-by-step guide to manage incoming applications efficiently.


Step 1: Access Your Posted Jobs

  • Go to the Recruitment tab in Better HR.

  • All active job listings will appear on the Recruitment Desk.

  • To view the public job listing, click the arrow icon next to the job title.


Step 2: View Received CVs

  • Under the "Total CV" column, you’ll see how many candidates have applied.

  • Click on the Job Title to view all submitted CVs.

  • You’ll be taken to the Candidates tab, starting in the Screening stage.


Step 3: Screen CVs

  • For each application, click "View CV" to review.

  • You can take one of two actions:

    • Reject – If the candidate doesn't meet your criteria.

    • Qualified – If the candidate moves on to the next stage.

📱 Note: Admins can also perform CV screening directly in the Better HR App, making it easy to manage applications on the go.


Step 4: Send Assignments

  • In the Assignment stage, click Add Assignment to send a task or test.

  • The candidate will receive this via their Better Jobs App and can submit their response directly.


Step 5: Schedule Interviews

  • Move qualified candidates to the Interview stage.

  • Click Schedule Interview to:

    • Choose interview type: Virtual or In-Person

    • Set up rounds (e.g., 1st Interview, 2nd Interview)

The candidate will receive an interview invitation in their Better Jobs App, along with the scheduled time and format.


Step 6: Collect Interview Feedback

  • After the interview, tick the box to send feedback requests to the assigned interviewers.

  • Interviewers will receive a notification in the Better HR App to rate and comment.

  • You can view their feedback under the candidate’s Basic Info tab.


Step 7: Send Job Offer

  • Move the candidate to the Offer stage.

  • Click Create Offer to send an employment letter through the platform.

  • The candidate will receive the offer in their Better Jobs App and can:

    • Sign to Accept Offer

    • Reject Offer


Extra Actions

  • To Unpublish a job: Go to the job’s detail page, click the Published button, and select Unpublished.

  • To Close a position: In the Recruitment tab, click the three dots under the job’s Action column and select Close Position.
