After a candidate completes the assignment stage or is marked as qualified, you can move them to the interview stage to begin scheduling interviews. Better Jobs lets you plan multiple rounds and choose between Virtual or In-Person formats.
Step 1: Move Candidate to Interview Stage
Go to the Candidates tab under the relevant job post.
Find a candidate in the Qualified section and click on the candidate’s name to open the action box.
In the pop-up, click the down arrow next to "Qualified" and select Move to Interview Stage.
Step 2: Open the Interview Tab
In the same action box, click the Interview tab (next to Assignment).
Click + Schedule Interview.
Step 3: Set Up the Interview
After clicking + Schedule Interview, a form will appear titled something like
“1st Interview Invitation – [Candidate Name]”
(e.g., 1st Interview Invitation – Alex Thu).
Fill in the following details:
Interview Type – Select either Virtual or In-Person
Date & Time – Set when the interview will take place
Interview Description – Add any notes or instructions for the interview
Interview Participants – Choose the interviewers from your team
Interview Address – Required if you choose In-Person
Interview GPS Location – Optional, but useful for precise directions if In-Person
Interview Video Call Link – Required if you choose Virtual
Once all fields are complete, click Schedule to notify the candidate and interviewers.
Step 4: Candidate and Interviewers Receive the Interview Details
The candidate will receive the interview schedule through the Better Jobs App.
They can view the date, time, type, and other details directly from their mobile app.
Interviewers will receive a notification in the inbox of their Better HR App.
Step 5: Collect Interview Feedback
After the interview is completed, return to the candidate’s Interview tab.
Tick the box to Send Feedback Request to the interviewers.
Click Finish Interview to close the round.
Interviewers will receive a feedback form in the inbox of Better HR App
Their responses will appear under the Basic Info tab of the candidate.

Keep interview stages labeled clearly (e.g., “Final Interview”, “Tech Round”).
Always confirm interviewer schedules before sending invitations.
Use the feedback feature to collaborate with your team on hiring decisions.
