How to Enable or Disable Remote Check-In/Out Time Adjustment

In Better HR, you can control whether employees are allowed to adjust their check-in/out time when submitting remote attendance requests. This helps companies manage flexibility while ensuring attendance accuracy.


Step-by-Step Guide

1️⃣ Go to Settings

  • Click the User Icon from the main menu.

  • Select Settings.

2️⃣ Navigate to Policies

  • Inside Settings, click on the Policies tab.

  • You will see a list of your existing policies.

3️⃣ Select the Policy

  • Click on the policy where you want to configure this setting.

4️⃣ Open the Attendance Tab

  • Inside the policy settings, click on the Attendance tab.

5️⃣ Configure Remote Check-In/Out Adjustment

  • Locate the section:
    "Remote Check-In/Out Adjustment"

  • On the right side, you will see the option:
    "Do you want to allow remote check-in/out time adjustment for this policy?"

  • Use the toggle to select:

    • Yes — Employees will be able to manually adjust their check-in/out time when submitting remote check-in/out requests.

    • No — Employees will not be able to adjust the time. The system will record the actual time when they request remote check-in/out.

6️⃣ Save Changes

  • After setting your preferred option, click Update Policy to save the changes.


📌 Important Note:

  • This setting applies only to Remote Check-In/Out.

  • It allows you to control whether employees can edit their requested times or must log attendance based on real-time submission.
